Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC vs Vimeo Create ‑ Video Makerfor Shopify (2026)
Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC and Vimeo Create ‑ Video Maker both cater to Shopify merchants looking to enhance their stores with video content, falling within the 'Images and media' and 'Video and livestream' Shopify categories. However, their core focus differs significantly. Moast appears to specialize in shoppable videos and User-Generated Content (UGC), suggesting a focus on driving direct sales and leveraging social proof through video. Vimeo Create, on the other hand, positions itself as a broader video maker, likely offering tools for creating various types of videos beyond simply shoppable ones. Given the rating and review counts, both apps are well-regarded by users. Moast boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, albeit with slightly fewer reviews (107) compared to Vimeo Create's 4.3/5 with 109 reviews. This suggests potentially higher user satisfaction with Moast, but it's important to acknowledge the slightly larger sample size for Vimeo Create. The key differentiator likely lies in the feature set. Moast leans into shoppability and UGC integration, whereas Vimeo Create emphasizes video creation tools, making one more appealing than the other depending on the merchant's primary goal: driving direct sales via interactive video or creating general marketing videos. Merchants should evaluate their specific needs before choosing. If the goal is to directly convert viewers into buyers with shoppable videos and social proof, Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC seems the more suitable choice. Conversely, if the priority is creating a wider variety of video content for marketing and branding purposes with flexible editing tools, Vimeo Create ‑ Video Maker might be a better fit.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing shoppable video experiences and user-generated content to drive direct sales, Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC appears to be the stronger option. Its perfect rating and explicit focus on shoppable video suggest a more refined and effective solution for this specific need. The lower review count compared to Vimeo Create should be considered, but the perfect rating is compelling.
However, if a merchant requires a broader video creation tool for diverse marketing needs beyond shoppable videos – creating explainers, brand stories, or social media promotions – Vimeo Create ‑ Video Maker is the better choice. Its general video creation tools are likely more versatile, providing flexibility for various content formats. While its rating is slightly lower, its higher review count indicates a larger user base and established presence.
