MIDA: Heatmap, Replay Checkout vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
MIDA: Heatmap, Replay Checkout and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator both fall under the 'Operations' category on Shopify, but cater to distinctly different needs. MIDA focuses on understanding user behavior on the storefront to improve the customer journey and conversion rates through heatmaps and session replays. It helps identify friction points in the checkout process. SupaEasy, on the other hand, is geared towards Shopify merchants, especially those previously reliant on Scripts or on Shopify Plus, to easily generate and migrate Shopify Functions, taking advantage of AI to customize discounts, payments, delivery, and validation processes without coding. SupaEasy differentiates itself with its AI-powered function generation, its compatibility with all Shopify plans, and the ability to migrate existing Scripts to Functions. This makes it particularly valuable for merchants seeking advanced checkout customization without extensive coding knowledge. MIDA doesn't offer any AI function creation, and targets stores seeking to optimize existing customer journeys through behavioral analysis. Its value proposition lies in improving conversion rates through a better understanding of the customer experience.
