Measura: Sell by Weight & More vs Shopcodesfor Shopify (2026)
Measura: Sell by Weight & More and Shopcodes are both Shopify apps catering to the 'Selling in Person' and 'Retail' categories, but they serve vastly different merchant needs. Measura focuses on enabling sales of products by measurement (weight, length, volume, and area), offering fractional inventory management and volume-based discounts. It's clearly targeted at businesses like grocery stores, butcheries, and fabric stores where selling by precise measurement is crucial. Shopcodes, on the other hand, aims to simplify the path to purchase by generating QR codes that link customers directly to product pages. Our Verdict
For merchants needing to sell products by precise measurements and manage fractional inventory, Measura: Sell by Weight & More is the clear choice. Its focus on accurate measurement, inventory adjustment, and Shopify POS integration caters directly to these operational needs. Shopcodes, despite having more reviews, has a significantly lower rating. It is more suited for general Shopify stores looking for a simple way to connect physical marketing materials with online product pages via QR codes. However, given the poor rating, merchants may want to explore alternative QR code generator apps with better reviews.
