Our Verdict
For new Shopify stores looking to quickly generate SEO-optimized product content using cutting-edge AI, Lyros - Smart SEO & Tags is the better choice. Its focus on AI-driven tagging, meta description generation, and alt text creation can provide a rapid boost in discoverability, especially given its GPT-5 integration. However, the limited number of reviews should be a consideration.
On the other hand, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the preferred option for more established stores seeking a holistic SEO solution. With its comprehensive suite of tools encompassing image optimization, page speed improvements, structured data implementation, and link management, Sherpas offers a more robust approach to improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic. The larger user base suggests a more mature and reliable app.
