Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral vs Wishlistify by Byte Appsfor Shopify (2026)
Loyoly and Wishlistify both aim to increase customer loyalty, but they approach it from vastly different angles. Loyoly is a comprehensive loyalty and referral program platform, offering a wide range of features for rewarding customers, collecting user-generated content (UGC), and creating brand ambassadors. It positions itself as a 'Next Gen' solution, emphasizing customization and a diverse set of missions beyond traditional purchase-based rewards. Wishlistify, on the other hand, focuses solely on providing a customizable wishlist feature, allowing customers to save favorite products for later. This is a more streamlined approach geared toward enhancing user engagement and encouraging repeat visits. The primary difference lies in the scope of features. Loyoly provides a full suite of loyalty program tools, encompassing rewards, referrals, UGC collection, and extensive customization options. Wishlistify offers a single, focused feature – a customizable wishlist – with Facebook Pixel tracking for marketing insights. This difference in functionality translates into different target audiences and use cases. Loyoly is geared toward merchants looking to build a holistic and engaging loyalty program, while Wishlistify caters to those seeking a simple and effective way to enhance customer engagement with a wishlist feature.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive and customizable loyalty program that goes beyond simple purchase rewards, Loyoly is the clear choice. Its extensive feature set, including referral programs, UGC collection missions, and deep customization options, allows for the creation of a highly engaging and brand-aligned loyalty experience. However, it may be an overkill for merchants only looking for a wishlist.
Wishlistify is ideal for stores that specifically need a wishlist function and want a simple, straightforward solution with some tracking capabilities. Its easy integration and focused functionality make it a good option for businesses prioritizing user engagement and repeat purchases through wishlists, especially if they use Facebook Pixel for marketing. The app's primary use case is very focused and well-defined, so merchants should consider if a full loyalty suite is really necessary.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Loyoly explicitly states a 3-minute setup, suggesting a potentially faster initial configuration. Wishlistify does not specify a setup time, but its singular focus on a wishlist feature implies a relatively straightforward process as well.
Which app offers more features?
Loyoly offers a significantly broader range of features, encompassing loyalty programs, referral programs, UGC collection, and extensive customization. Wishlistify is limited to a customizable wishlist feature with Facebook Pixel tracking.
Can both apps be used simultaneously?
Potentially, but it might be redundant. A store using Loyoly's full loyalty program already gains advantages that a wishlist could provide. Wishlistify is more useful when a merchant doesn't require the complete functionality of a full loyalty program.
Which app is better for collecting customer reviews?
Loyoly includes a library of +40 missions designed to encourage customer reviews on various channels, making it the better option for proactively soliciting and managing reviews.
Which app provides more data and analytics?
Wishlistify includes Facebook Pixel tracking for marketing insights related to wishlist usage. Loyoly doesn't explicitly mention equivalent tracking features, although you could assume a robust analytics dashboard accompanies the app. Wishlistify gives you more insights into how your wishlist performs.
