Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral vs Wishlisterfor Shopify (2026)
Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral and Wishlister both aim to improve customer loyalty, but they approach it from vastly different angles. Loyoly focuses on creating a comprehensive, gamified loyalty and referral program with diverse missions beyond simple purchase rewards, targeting merchants who want deep engagement and user-generated content. Wishlister, on the other hand, provides a simpler wishlist functionality, aimed at improving shopping experience and facilitating future purchases through categorized lists and social sharing. The key distinction lies in Loyoly's proactive approach to building a loyalty program, versus Wishlister's passive enhancement of the shopping journey.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral is the stronger choice for merchants seeking a robust loyalty program with extensive customization and a focus on UGC. Its significantly higher rating and review count suggest greater customer satisfaction. Wishlister might be suitable for stores that primarily want to offer a basic wishlist feature to improve user experience. However, the lower rating and minimal reviews raise concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. For most merchants looking to build genuine customer loyalty, Loyoly offers a more comprehensive and proven solution. Wishlister would only be recommended where a very basic wishlist is required and very little development time is available.
