Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral vs Simplee Memberships & Loyaltyfor Shopify (2026)
Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral and Simplee Memberships & Loyalty both aim to enhance customer loyalty on Shopify, but they achieve this through different mechanisms. Loyoly focuses on incentivizing a broader range of customer engagement activities beyond purchases and referrals, such as UGC creation, social media sharing, and reviews, using a flexible points-based system. Simplee Memberships & Loyalty, in contrast, centers around building a membership program with recurring billing, gated content, and exclusive perks for paying members, similar to a 'Costco or Amazon Prime' model. Loyoly's strength lies in its versatility and brand customization, making it suitable for businesses looking to build a community and gather user-generated content. Simplee's strength is in creating a predictable revenue stream and offering exclusive value to paying members. Consequently, Loyoly targets a broader merchant base seeking general loyalty and UGC strategies, while Simplee targets businesses interested in creating membership programs with recurring revenue, potentially with tiered pricing or content access levels.
