Loop Subscriptions App vs Upsell Kit: BOGO, Bundle & 30+for Shopify (2026)
Loop Subscriptions App and Upsell Kit: BOGO, Bundle & 30+ both aim to enhance sales on Shopify, but they approach it from fundamentally different angles. Loop Subscriptions App is laser-focused on cultivating recurring revenue through subscriptions, offering a comprehensive suite of tools to manage and optimize the subscription lifecycle. This includes features like dynamic discounts, subscription bundles, customer portal, churn prevention, and payment recovery. In contrast, Upsell Kit is a broader conversion rate optimization tool, encompassing a wider array of tactics like bundles, volume discounts, BOGO offers, countdown timers, and social proof elements to drive immediate sales. Loop Subscriptions App caters to merchants seeking to build a stable, predictable revenue stream and foster long-term customer relationships through subscriptions. Its strengths lie in managing the complexities of subscription models, minimizing churn, and maximizing lifetime value. Upsell Kit, on the other hand, appeals to merchants primarily focused on boosting immediate sales and average order value through a diverse set of upselling and cross-selling techniques. While both apps offer product bundling, the scale and intent are significantly different. Loop focuses on subscription boxes, whereas Upsell Kit focuses on one-time purchase bundles.

Common Questions
Which app is better for creating subscription boxes?
Loop Subscriptions App is explicitly designed for subscription models, including the 'build a box' feature. Upsell Kit does not focus on subscriptions; instead offers standard product bundles.
Does Upsell Kit offer any features comparable to Loop's cancellation flows?
No, Upsell Kit does not offer any direct features for managing cancellations or churn associated with subscriptions. Its focus is on boosting immediate sales and improving conversion rates.
Which app offers better analytics for identifying areas for improvement?
Loop Subscriptions App provides analytics specifically tailored to subscription performance, allowing you to identify drop-off points and revenue drivers within your subscription program. While Upsell Kit likely offers some basic analytics, it won't be as focused on subscription-specific metrics.
If I want to offer both one-time purchases and subscriptions, which app should I choose?
While both apps offer product bundles, if subscriptions are a core part of your strategy, Loop Subscriptions App is still recommended as it offers robust subscription-management tools.
