Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with managing their own local delivery fleet or offering in-store pickup options, Local delivery + Pickup ‑ SE is the clear winner. Its features, such as the driver app, route optimization, and proof-of-delivery, are specifically tailored to this need. However, if a merchant's main focus is on accurately calculating shipping rates for various destinations, carriers, and product types, ShipX ‑ Shipping Rates & Rules is the more suitable choice. ShipX's sophisticated rate calculation engine and integration with various shipping providers offer the flexibility and control required for optimizing shipping costs. Both apps fill critical niches, but selecting the right one depends heavily on a merchant's specific business model and priorities.
