LiveMeUp Live Shopping and Terrific Live both aim to leverage the power of video to enhance the Shopify shopping experience, but they cater to different merchant needs. LiveMeUp positions itself as a premium, comprehensive solution for live video selling, focusing on real-time interaction and multi-channel distribution, particularly emphasizing live shopping events. Terrific Live, on the other hand, concentrates on pre-recorded, shoppable videos embedded directly on product pages, providing a more evergreen and curated experience. LiveMeUp appears to be geared towards merchants seeking to host engaging live events and build community, while Terrific Live suits businesses that prefer creating polished, on-demand video content to boost product discovery and conversion rates. Terrific Live, conversely, is about embedding shoppable videos that customers can engage with at their own pace. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants aiming to create a vibrant community and drive sales through interactive live shopping events, LiveMeUp Live Shopping is the superior choice. Its comprehensive feature set, including multi-streaming, SMS marketing, and detailed analytics, positions it as a powerful tool for managing and optimizing live video commerce. The 24/7 human support further enhances its appeal for merchants who may be new to live selling.
However, for merchants primarily focused on enhancing product pages and increasing conversion rates through compelling, pre-recorded video content, Terrific Live offers a more streamlined solution. While lacking the real-time interaction of LiveMeUp, Terrific Live allows businesses to create a curated shopping experience by seamlessly integrating shoppable videos directly into their existing website. While the review count is currently low, focusing on embeddable videos that require little ongoing maintenance could be helpful for smaller businesses wanting to focus on more on-demand content.
