Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing real-time interaction and active creation of shopping experiences, Live Shopping by Amperstand offers the necessary tools to engage customers live and facilitate immediate sales. The multi-host feature is a unique advantage. However, given the low rating and few reviews, be cautious and thoroughly test the app.
Whatmore Shoppable Videos+Reel is the stronger choice for merchants with a solid social media presence who want to seamlessly integrate existing Instagram Reels and TikTok videos into their Shopify store. The automation features, high rating, and positive reviews make it a low-effort way to enhance product discovery and drive sales through engaging video content. The AI-powered tagging system will save a lot of time. Due to the significant difference in ratings and review volume, Whatmore is generally a safer and more proven choice in 2026.
Common Questions
Which app is better for immediate sales?
Live Shopping by Amperstand is designed for immediate sales through live interaction. Whatmore facilitates sales through the customer's own browsing cadence.
Which app is easier to set up?

Which app offers better long-term potential?
Whatmore Shoppable Videos+Reel, due to its higher rating, significantly more reviews, and focus on automating a previously manual process, has more potential for long-term success and ROI. That is, of course, assuming the high rating is maintained through consistent feature updates.
