Libautech: Currency Converter vs Nova: Multi Currency Converterfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing a currency converter app will face a trade-off between Libautech: Currency Converter and Nova: Multi Currency Converter. Libautech boasts a perfect 5-star rating, suggesting high satisfaction among its users, but this is based on a very small sample size. Nova, on the other hand, has a slightly lower rating of 4.9 stars, but significantly more reviews (610), implying broader user experience data and established reliability. Nova positions itself as a solution for increasing international sales by offering a seamless, location-based currency switching experience. Nova’s description highlights automatic currency conversion based on location, a customizable floating currency bar, and support for over 130 currencies, making it appealing to merchants targeting a global audience. Libautech lacks a detailed description, making it difficult to assess its feature set and target audience definitively. The 24/7 live chat human support offered by Nova adds to its appeal, particularly for merchants who anticipate needing assistance with setup or troubleshooting.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a tried-and-tested solution with extensive features for international sales, Nova: Multi Currency Converter is the clear choice. Its automatic location-based conversion, wide currency support, customizable design, and 24/7 support offer a comprehensive solution. While Libautech's perfect rating is attractive, the lack of information about its features and the very small number of reviews make it a riskier choice.
If a merchant values taking a chance on a potential up-and-comer and only needs basic currency conversion, Libautech might be worth exploring further (if more information becomes available). However, for most merchants in 2026, especially those focusing on international expansion, Nova provides a more robust and reliable solution.
