LianLian Extention vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
LianLian Extention and Zigpoll Customer Surveys, while both categorized under 'Operations' in the Shopify app store, cater to vastly different merchant needs. LianLian Extention focuses on streamlining the payment process by automating the synchronization of tracking information with the LianLian payment service. Its core value proposition is saving time and potentially increasing conversion rates by eliminating manual data entry related to payments. It seems geared towards merchants already utilizing LianLian as their payment gateway and are looking to improve operational efficiency specifically around payment tracking. Zigpoll, on the other hand, is a comprehensive customer survey tool aimed at gathering customer feedback across various touchpoints, from pre-purchase to post-purchase and even abandoned checkouts. Its strengths lie in its ease of use (no-code setup), multilingual support, AI-powered analytics, and seamless integration with the Shopify ecosystem, making it attractive to merchants looking to understand their customers better and optimize their overall business strategy based on data-driven insights. The primary difference is their core function: LianLian Extention automates a specific payment-related task, while Zigpoll provides a broader customer insight platform. LianLian Extention's value is contingent on using the LianLian payment gateway, whereas Zigpoll offers benefits regardless of the payment gateways used. The significant difference in review count (2 vs. 417) suggests a much wider user base and potentially more established reliability for Zigpoll. While both claim to improve conversion rates, they do so through different mechanisms – LianLian Extention via operational efficiency and Zigpoll via data-driven optimization based on customer feedback. This comparison highlights the importance of carefully considering the specific business needs when choosing between the two apps.

Our Verdict
For merchants already heavily invested in the LianLian payment gateway and seeking a simple solution to automate tracking information synchronization, LianLian Extention might be a suitable option, although the limited number of reviews raises questions about its reliability and widespread adoption. However, for the vast majority of Shopify merchants seeking a comprehensive understanding of their customers and wanting to optimize their business strategy based on data-driven insights, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the significantly more robust and valuable choice. Its high review count, advanced features (AI analytics, multilingual support), and integration capabilities make it a clear winner for those prioritizing customer feedback and data-driven growth. LianLian Extention serves a niche need, while Zigpoll provides broader applicability and value.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps claim to be easy to use. LianLian Extention focuses on a single task, suggesting a very simple setup process, while Zigpoll boasts a 'no-code setup' and user-friendly interface. However, the complexity of data analysis with Zigpoll might require some learning curve despite the user-friendly setup.
Which app offers a better return on investment (ROI)?
This depends on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant uses LianLian and spends considerable time manually uploading tracking information, LianLian Extention's time-saving feature could provide a direct ROI. Zigpoll's ROI is tied to the effectiveness of its insights in optimizing business decisions, which can be harder to quantify but potentially more substantial in the long run.
Which app is better for a small business?
Zigpoll is likely the better choice for a small business. While automation is helpful, understanding your customers is crucial for growth. Zigpoll provides valuable insights and allows for targeted campaigns based on data. LianLian Extention is a very specific tool, valuable only if that specific payment gateway is used.
Are these apps mutually exclusive, or can they be used together?
They are largely mutually exclusive. Their functions are independent. A merchant could potentially use both, but the synergy between them is limited. Zigpoll would provide insights into overall customer experience, while LianLian Extention automates a very specific payment-related task.
What are the potential risks associated with each app?
For LianLian Extention, the limited number of reviews suggests a higher risk of bugs or lack of support. For Zigpoll, the risk lies in the proper interpretation and application of the survey data. Inaccurate analysis could lead to misguided business decisions.
