Our Verdict
For merchants who value guided assistance throughout the mobile app creation process, particularly with submitting the app to app stores, LEO ‑ Mobile App Builder appears to be the stronger choice. The ready-to-use sections and specialized assistance cater to those seeking a more hands-on, supported experience. LEO also offers unique features like 'Area Verification' which may suit location-based businesses.
However, if real-time customization and a robust marketing automation solution are paramount, Makappi ‑ Mobile App Builder might be a better fit. Its emphasis on improving customer retention with marketing automation, combined with its real-time editor, positions it as a suitable option for merchants who are comfortable with self-service and want granular control over their app's design and customer engagement strategies. The Apple Pay one-click checkout is also a great user-centric feature. However, consider the limited number of reviews when making your decision.
