KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups vs Singleton | Verify Customersfor Shopify (2026)
KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups and Singleton | Verify Customers both address Shopify merchants' needs regarding user accounts and login experiences, but they target very different goals. KwikPass focuses on optimizing conversion rates and identifying anonymous shoppers through phone-based OTP login and interactive pop-ups. Its core strength lies in engaging new visitors and turning them into identifiable, high-intent leads. Singleton, conversely, prioritizes control and validation of registered customers. It allows merchants to screen and approve customers, restricting access to prices and "add to cart" functionality for unapproved users. The crucial difference is the stage of customer interaction they address. KwikPass targets the top of the funnel, attracting and identifying new shoppers. Singleton focuses on the mid-to-lower funnel, managing and controlling already registered users. Therefore, KwikPass aims to increase conversions by simplifying login and engaging visitors, whereas Singleton aims to maintain exclusivity or verify user credentials for specific business needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on boosting sales and capturing new leads through engaging experiences and simplified login, KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups is the better choice. Its strength lies in converting anonymous visitors into identifiable customers and driving conversions through interactive pop-ups. The automatic Shopify integration also reduces implementation effort.
However, if a merchant's priority is to control access to their store, validate customer credentials, or run a wholesale or members-only business, Singleton | Verify Customers is the more appropriate option. The ability to approve/decline customers and restrict access to prices and the "add to cart" button offers essential control over who can make purchases. While the setup may require more configuration, the resulting control justifies the effort.
