KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups vs PayU CommercePro Checkoutfor Shopify (2026)
KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups and PayU CommercePro Checkout both address the Accounts and Login category in Shopify, aiming to improve user experience and conversions. KwikPass focuses on identifying and engaging new visitors early in their shopping journey using phone-first SSO login and interactive pop-ups. Its strength lies in capturing attention, collecting customer data, and retargeting visitors. In contrast, PayU CommercePro Checkout emphasizes faster checkouts for returning customers by pre-filling addresses after OTP login, aiming to reduce abandoned carts and improve conversion rates by streamlining the final purchase steps. The target audience also differs significantly. KwikPass appears to be geared towards merchants seeking to actively acquire and engage new customers, particularly those who value data collection and customized marketing through pop-ups and retargeting. PayU CommercePro Checkout seems better suited for merchants primarily focused on improving the checkout process for existing customers and reducing return to origin (RTO) rates by offering a faster and more convenient checkout experience through address pre-filling. A major difference is the reviews and rating. KwikPass has a far higher number of reviews and an outstanding 5/5 rating, while PayU has only 1 review and a very low rating.

Our Verdict
Based on available data, KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups appears to be the stronger choice for merchants looking to actively acquire new customers and engage them early in the shopping journey. The high rating and significant number of positive reviews suggest a more reliable and effective solution. The interactive pop-up features offer opportunities for data collection and personalized marketing.
PayU CommercePro Checkout may be suitable for merchants already experiencing significant traffic and looking to streamline the checkout process for returning customers. However, the low rating and limited reviews raise concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. Merchants considering PayU should proceed with caution and potentially explore alternative solutions with more established track records.
