Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with increasing their Average Order Value through strategic promotional offers and upsells, Koala Free Gift BOGO Gifts appears to be the stronger choice. Its focus on free gifts, BOGO deals, and upsell pop-ups makes it ideal for those looking to incentivize larger purchases. The ability to add gifts automatically and customize upsell offers based on customer behavior further enhances its appeal for merchants focused on maximizing revenue from each transaction.
However, if a store's primary challenge lies in product discoverability, especially for stores with extensive catalogs, RS: Smart Search Bar & Filter is the more suitable option. Its AI-powered search, custom filtering options, and ability to handle over 1 million products make it a robust solution for improving the customer's search experience and driving conversions through easier product finding. While both share the 'Upsell and cross-sell' category, RS leans more into discoverability leading to those actions rather than a direct upsell prompt.
