Klaviyo: Email Marketing & SMS vs Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popupsfor Shopify (2026)
Klaviyo: Email Marketing & SMS and Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups (also known as SendWILL) both compete in the Shopify email marketing space, but they cater to slightly different segments. Klaviyo, with its established brand recognition and mature feature set, focuses heavily on advanced segmentation and personalized email/SMS marketing automation, making it suitable for larger, more sophisticated merchants. Trustoo, on the other hand, positions itself as an all-in-one platform with a strong emphasis on list growth through pop-ups, spin-the-wheel games, and a drag-and-drop email editor. Its description suggests a broader appeal to merchants seeking user-friendly, comprehensive marketing solutions. SendWILL integrates pop-ups, exit-intent features, and discount driving popups into its email platform, something the description for Klaviyo does not highlight.

Our Verdict
For established brands requiring sophisticated segmentation and personalization across both email and SMS channels, Klaviyo is likely the stronger choice, despite the slightly lower rating and fewer reviews. Its focus on advanced automation offers significant potential for return on investment. However, for newer businesses or those primarily concerned with list growth through pop-ups and looking for an easy-to-use, all-in-one marketing platform, Trustoo (SendWILL) appears to be a compelling alternative. The higher rating and significantly more reviews are strong indicators of user satisfaction with its feature set and overall value proposition. Its integration of discount driven popups could be a significant driver of sales.
