Common Questions
What if I want to offer a discount code AND collect donations?
You could potentially use both apps, but they serve distinct functions. Kite Discount focuses on sales promotions, while Zestard handles donations. Using both might require careful planning to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Which app is easier to use?
It's difficult to definitively say without user testing. However, Kite Discount's more complex feature set (BOGO, tiered discounts, scripts migration) *might* involve a steeper learning curve than Zestard's donation-focused simplicity. Read recent reviews for insights from other users.
Can I customize the appearance of the widgets in both apps?
The descriptions mention 'custom discount builder' for Kite Discount and 'customizable receipts' for Zestard. This suggests some level of customization is possible, but the extent of customization is not detailed. Further research is needed.
Are these apps GDPR compliant?
The app descriptions do not explicitly mention GDPR compliance. Merchants should independently verify the GDPR compliance status of each app before installation, especially if handling customer data in the EU.
Which app offers better customer support?
The provided data does not offer information on the quality of customer support. Investigate reviews and ratings focusing on customer support experiences for each app on the Shopify App Store.
