Kindly: Payment Reminder Pro vs TapOnIt ‑ Automated SMS & MMSfor Shopify (2026)
Kindly: Payment Reminder Pro focuses narrowly on payment reminders to recover revenue. TapOnIt, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive SMS and MMS marketing solution for e-commerce, offering a broader range of features beyond just reminders, including abandoned cart recovery, low inventory alerts, price drops, milestone messages, and visual campaigns with multi-image texts. TapOnIt also offers pop-ups for capturing emails and phone numbers to build a subscriber list. The data shows Kindly has a significantly higher number of reviews despite the similar rating, indicating a more established presence and potentially broader user base. TapOnIt aims to provide a high-impact, visual marketing experience via SMS and MMS, while Kindly appears simpler and centered on a single specific function. This suggests TapOnIt is targeted towards merchants seeking a full-featured SMS marketing platform, while Kindly likely caters to merchants who specifically want to solve overdue payments and don’t need extensive marketing features. The ability to track sales directly tied to text campaigns is a key differentiator for TapOnIt.
