JeriCommerce ‑ Loyalty Cards vs Recurpay: Subscriptions appfor Shopify (2026)
JeriCommerce ‑ Loyalty Cards and Recurpay: Subscriptions app both aim to enhance customer lifetime value, but they tackle this goal through distinct strategies. JeriCommerce focuses on building customer loyalty through a points-based reward system, leveraging digital loyalty cards in mobile wallets and integrating with POS systems for omnichannel engagement. Recurpay, conversely, targets recurring revenue by providing a comprehensive subscription management platform, giving customers control over their subscriptions and offering flexible payment options. The primary difference lies in their approach: JeriCommerce incentivizes repeat purchases through loyalty programs, while Recurpay facilitates sustained revenue streams through subscription models. While both apps boast a perfect 5/5 rating, the significant disparity in the number of reviews (4 vs. 400) suggests Recurpay has a substantially larger and more established user base. JeriCommerce emphasizes automated engagement through Shopify Flow and Klaviyo, targeted notifications, and referral programs, indicating a focus on automation and personalization. Recurpay highlights 24/7 live support, a customizable subscription widget, and developer-friendly access to APIs, showcasing a commitment to user support, branding, and customization. Therefore, the choice between the two hinges on whether a merchant prioritizes loyalty-driven repeat purchases or subscription-based recurring revenue.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to enhance customer loyalty, drive repeat purchases through incentivized rewards, and create an omnichannel experience with digital loyalty cards (especially those with existing POS systems), JeriCommerce ‑ Loyalty Cards may be the better option. Its focus on mobile wallet integration and automated engagement is particularly valuable. However, the low number of reviews raises concerns about its stability and maturity.
On the other hand, for merchants primarily focused on generating recurring revenue through subscriptions, Recurpay: Subscriptions app is the clear choice. Its robust subscription management features, flexible subscription options, 24/7 support, and a high review count make it a more reliable and comprehensive solution for subscription-based businesses. The customer portal providing self-service options to customers is also highly beneficial.
