IvixLabs Stock Notifier vs Sales CountUpfor Shopify (2026)
IvixLabs Stock Notifier and Sales CountUp, while both sharing the 'Stock alerts' category on Shopify, cater to drastically different needs. IvixLabs Stock Notifier focuses on internal inventory management, providing merchants with tools to monitor stock levels and receive alerts when products are running low. Its strength lies in preventing stockouts and ensuring business continuity through real-time notifications and reporting. In contrast, Sales CountUp is a customer-facing app designed to showcase business impact and sales performance through customizable counters on the storefront. It aims to build trust and drive sales by highlighting positive metrics like sales volume, charitable donations, or eco-friendly initiatives. The primary difference lies in their purpose: Stock Notifier improves operational efficiency by proactively managing inventory, while Sales CountUp enhances the customer experience and promotes sales through social proof and impact storytelling. Stock Notifier targets merchants concerned about stockouts, while Sales CountUp appeals to brands looking to showcase their values and achievements to customers. The low number of reviews for IvixLabs Stock Notifier should also be taken into account by merchants, especially in 2026 when other apps may have had a chance to build a strong base of customer reviews. It’s critical to consider the vastly different use cases for these apps as they relate to your business goals.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with inventory management and stockouts, IvixLabs Stock Notifier is the better choice, despite the low number of reviews. Its features are specifically designed to address these issues directly. However, merchants should carefully consider the limited social proof and potentially investigate alternative inventory management solutions with more established user bases.
On the other hand, Sales CountUp is ideal for businesses seeking to enhance their brand image, highlight their impact (e.g., charitable donations, eco-friendliness), and boost sales through social proof. Its focus is on the customer experience and creating a positive perception of the brand. A merchant focused on internal operations or inventory levels wouldn't benefit much from Sales CountUp. Therefore, the best choice depends entirely on the merchant's priorities.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Given their differing functionalities, setup complexity likely differs. IvixLabs Stock Notifier requires defining stock thresholds and notification preferences, while Sales CountUp involves customizing counter displays and placement on the storefront. Sales CountUp appears to have a simpler setup, but is likely to require more design time.
Can both apps be used together?
Yes, they can coexist, but their purposes are independent. IvixLabs Stock Notifier operates behind the scenes, while Sales CountUp is customer-facing. There is no direct interaction between the two apps.
Which app is better for a dropshipping business?
IvixLabs Stock Notifier can still be valuable for dropshipping, although less so than for merchants holding inventory. It can alert you when a supplier's stock is low (if you have API integration or manual stock updates). Sales CountUp is universally applicable regardless of fulfillment model.
Which app is more likely to impact revenue?
Sales CountUp aims to directly impact revenue by influencing customer purchasing decisions. IvixLabs Stock Notifier impacts revenue indirectly by preventing stockouts and ensuring orders can be fulfilled. Both apps have the potential to increase revenue in different ways.
Is integration required for either app?
IvixLabs Stock Notifier may benefit from integration with inventory management systems for automated stock updates (although this isn't explicitly stated). Sales CountUp likely integrates seamlessly with Shopify to retrieve sales data and order information.
