Our Verdict
Given the current data, RT: Disable Right Click presents a more reliable choice for Shopify merchants. Its significantly higher number of reviews provides a level of trust and validation that IP Moat ‑ Counterfeit Defence, with only three reviews, cannot match. While a perfect rating is appealing, the lack of a substantial user base makes it difficult to assess the app's long-term effectiveness and potential drawbacks.
For merchants primarily concerned with deterring casual content theft and protecting their SEO ranking against simple duplication, RT: Disable Right Click offers a practical and well-established solution. IP Moat ‑ Counterfeit Defence might be worth considering in the future if it garners more reviews and provides a clearer explanation of its features and benefits, but for now, RT: Disable Right Click is the safer and more informed choice.
