Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants who prioritize collecting customer data and integrating social login with marketing automation platforms, HIKO Social Login is the better choice. Its extensive social login options, coupled with data collection features, allow for more personalized marketing efforts. However, the limitation of only supporting legacy customer accounts is a significant drawback that needs careful consideration. HOOK Social Login is ideal for merchants who value simplicity and a frictionless user experience. Its One Tap Login functionality and ease of setup make it a great option for stores seeking to reduce friction during the signup process and provide quick access via popular social media platforms. HOOK's focus on user experience might be preferable for smaller stores or those who don't require extensive customer data collection.
