Hidden Gems ‑ Pre&Post Surveys vs SEA Post Purchase Survey Appfor Shopify (2026)
Hidden Gems ‑ Pre&Post Surveys and SEA Post Purchase Survey App both aim to help Shopify merchants gather customer feedback through surveys, but they differ significantly in their approach, features, and market validation. Hidden Gems focuses on a 'Question Flow' methodology, delivering one question at a time before and after purchase for a less intrusive UX, and it uses built-in discount codes to incentivize participation. It emphasizes simplicity and ease of use. In contrast, SEA Post Purchase Survey App offers a broader range of features, including targeting specific customers based on tags, visited pages, and purchased products. It also provides extensive customization options, analytical reporting, and integrations with Shopify Flow and email apps. SEA Post Purchase Survey App appears to cater to merchants who want more control and depth in their survey strategy, including detailed targeting and advanced integrations. Its focus on post-purchase feedback, coupled with analytical reports, suggests a preference for actionable insights through detailed feedback loops. Hidden Gems, on the other hand, seems geared towards merchants who prioritize ease of use and a non-disruptive survey experience with a strong emphasis on pre-purchase and immediate post-purchase feedback. The lack of reviews for Hidden Gems, compared to the strong positive rating and numerous reviews for SEA Post Purchase Survey App, indicates a significant difference in market validation and potentially, the maturity and robustness of each app.
