Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push vs Wiz AI Abandoned Cart Recoveryfor Shopify (2026)
Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push and Wiz AI Abandoned Cart Recovery both address abandoned cart recovery but take very different approaches. Hextom offers a multi-channel approach using WhatsApp, SMS, and push notifications, appealing to merchants looking for broad communication options. Wiz AI, on the other hand, focuses entirely on email marketing for abandoned cart recovery and broader email marketing automation, leveraging AI to create campaigns, flows, and segmentations. This makes Wiz AI particularly attractive to merchants who prefer email as their primary channel and want to automate their email marketing efforts with AI-powered tools. While Hextom’s strength lies in its channel diversity, Wiz AI excels in its AI-driven automation for email marketing. Wiz AI touts a 1-click setup and AI-generated email flows, suggesting a user-friendly experience, especially for merchants lacking extensive email marketing expertise. Hextom's higher review count suggests a broader user base and potentially more established presence, but Wiz AI's perfect 5-star rating indicates high satisfaction among its users, even if the sample size is smaller. The availability of multiple language templates is another significant advantage of Wiz AI for international merchants.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive, multi-channel approach to abandoned cart recovery and general communication, Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push is the better option. Its ability to reach customers via WhatsApp, SMS, and push notifications offers greater flexibility. However, for merchants who believe strongly in email marketing, especially those with limited time or expertise, Wiz AI Abandoned Cart Recovery is the superior choice. Its AI-powered automation simplifies email campaign creation, personalization, and segmentation, freeing up valuable time. The available multiple language templates are a definitive advantage for online shops that serve international customers.
Ultimately, the best app depends on your specific communication strategy and resources. If you have a dedicated email marketing team and established processes, Hextom's flexibility might be more valuable. But if you're looking for an automated, AI-driven solution to streamline your email marketing, particularly for abandoned cart recovery, Wiz AI offers a compelling proposition, especially if you serve an international audience with its available multilingual templates.
