Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push vs RocketPush: WhatsApp, Web Pushfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push and RocketPush: WhatsApp, Web Push face a trade-off between established user feedback and potentially promising new services. Hextom distinguishes itself through its multi-channel communication capabilities, offering WhatsApp, SMS, and push notifications. This indicates a broader focus on engaging customers across various platforms. In contrast, RocketPush specializes in WhatsApp and Web Push, suggesting a more streamlined and focused approach on those specific channels. Hextom's 4.7-star rating based on 280 reviews indicates a significant user base and established performance. The combination of SMS and WhatsApp is likely attractive to merchants seeking comprehensive marketing outreach. RocketPush, while boasting a perfect 5-star rating, only has 5 reviews, which makes drawing definitive conclusions about its long-term performance difficult. This difference in review volume needs to be considered when evaluating the overall risk and potential benefit of each app. The differing focuses also suggest different target audiences. Hextom likely aims at merchants needing extensive outreach capabilities across various channels. RocketPush would be suitable for merchants prioritizing focus on WhatsApp and Web Push.

Our Verdict
For established Shopify businesses requiring a robust, multi-channel communication strategy and comprehensive reporting, Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push is likely the better choice due to its proven track record and wide range of features. The large number of reviews provides valuable insight into the app's performance and potential issues. However, for smaller Shopify stores or those specifically seeking to optimize their WhatsApp and web push strategies, RocketPush: WhatsApp, Web Push might be a worthwhile option, especially if looking for newer solutions. The higher rating, though based on limited feedback, could indicate a focus on quality within its specific niche. It depends on your risk tolerance for trying a new tool with limited social proof vs. established reliability.
Common Questions
Which app offers better support resources in 2026?
Based solely on rating and reviews, it's difficult to definitively say. Hextom's higher review volume likely reflects more opportunities for support interactions, and their established presence implies a more mature support structure. However, the lack of data to directly compare support resources requires additional research.
Which app is likely easier to set up and use?
Without further data, it's hard to assess ease of use. RocketPush's narrower feature set might suggest a simpler initial setup. Hextom's multi-channel functionality could introduce complexity, but this depends heavily on the user interface and onboarding experience.
Which app has potentially lower pricing in 2026?
Pricing information is unavailable. Assuming both apps have tiered pricing, the app with the narrowest feature set (RocketPush) *might* have a lower entry-level price point. However, this is speculation without actual pricing data.
Which app likely offers more advanced analytics?
Hextom's multi-channel approach suggests potentially more comprehensive analytics as it needs to track data across SMS, WhatsApp, and web push. RocketPush's focus may translate into deeper analytics specifically for WhatsApp and web push, but the scope might be limited.
Which app is better for reducing cart abandonment?
Both apps could contribute to cart abandonment reduction through WhatsApp and web push notifications. Hextom's SMS capability provides an additional channel to remind customers. The effectiveness ultimately depends on the quality of the notifications and targeting capabilities.
