Hextom: Bulk Product Edit vs Parcel Panel Order Trackingfor Shopify (2026)
Hextom: Bulk Product Edit and Parcel Panel Order Tracking cater to entirely different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the 'Orders and shipping' category on Shopify. Hextom focuses on back-end efficiency, allowing merchants to bulk edit product information, collections, customer data, metafields, and even orders themselves via an easy-to-use interface or CSV import/export. This app targets merchants needing to manage large catalogs, update pricing strategies, or perform other bulk data changes without manual effort. It emphasizes accuracy, speed, and reversibility of changes, appealing to both technical and non-technical users. Parcel Panel, on the other hand, focuses on the post-purchase customer experience. It’s dedicated solely to order tracking and providing customers with up-to-date shipping information. The app's high rating and significant number of reviews suggest a well-received solution for improving customer satisfaction and reducing WISMO (Where Is My Order?) inquiries. While Hextom is about internal operational efficiency, Parcel Panel is about external customer-facing improvements related to order fulfillment transparency. Choosing between them hinges entirely on whether a merchant needs robust data management tools or superior order tracking capabilities.
