Herodesk vs Lopaa AIfor Shopify (2026)
Herodesk and Lopaa AI are both Shopify helpdesk apps, but they cater to different needs and offer distinct feature sets. Herodesk positions itself as a simple and affordable solution for small to mid-sized e-commerce businesses that want to consolidate their customer support channels. Its focus is on conversation-based support and seamless Shopify integration, emphasizing ease of use and improved customer loyalty. Lopaa AI, on the other hand, targets businesses focused on efficient complaint and query management, with features like a built-in complaint management system, order tracking, and integration with third-party CRMs. The key differences lie in their approach to customer interaction and platform focus. Herodesk prioritizes unifying live chat, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram interactions while providing order details directly from Shopify. Lopaa AI emphasizes complaint handling through chat and queries via email and WhatsApp, utilizing AI for support alongside live agents. Therefore, while Herodesk is suitable for merchants aiming to provide direct, personalized support through common channels, Lopaa AI seems to be geared toward businesses needing structured complaint resolution and multi-channel query management with CRM integrations.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Herodesk appears to be a more reliable choice for most small to mid-sized Shopify merchants seeking a straightforward helpdesk solution. Its positive rating and existing reviews provide a level of confidence lacking in Lopaa AI. Herodesk's strong Shopify integration and focus on popular communication channels make it ideal for businesses aiming to improve customer engagement and provide quick, personalized support.
Lopaa AI could be a better fit for larger businesses or those with a high volume of customer complaints needing a structured management system. However, the lack of reviews and user feedback makes it difficult to assess its actual performance and reliability. Merchants considering Lopaa AI should proceed with caution and thoroughly investigate its capabilities before committing to the app.
