Our Verdict
For larger Shopify stores looking to automate their customer service and reduce support costs using AI, HelpEcho ‑ Customer Support is the more feature-rich option. The AI chatbot and knowledge base could significantly reduce the burden on human support agents. However, the lack of reviews and zero rating pose a significant risk.
For smaller to medium-sized businesses prioritizing ease of use and a simple, manageable customer support system, Herodesk is the better choice. Its Shopify integration and focus on conversation-based support make it a more accessible option for teams looking for an intuitive solution without the complexities of AI and extensive automation. The 5/5 rating, albeit based on a small number of reviews, inspires more confidence.
