HeloRobo : WhatsApp & LiveChat vs Moose: AI Chatbot & Live Chatfor Shopify (2026)
HeloRobo : WhatsApp & LiveChat and Moose: AI Chatbot & Live Chat both aim to improve customer communication for Shopify merchants, but they take drastically different approaches. HeloRobo focuses on omnichannel messaging, particularly leveraging WhatsApp Business API for marketing and sales. It emphasizes shared team inboxes for managing WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook interactions, aiming to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and personalized campaigns. Its target audience seems to be merchants heavily reliant on social media and messaging platforms for customer interaction and sales. Moose, on the other hand, prioritizes AI-powered automation for customer support. Its core value proposition is reducing support effort through a chatbot that learns from existing product information and FAQs. It provides 24/7 support, handling routine inquiries while seamlessly transferring complex cases to live agents. It is suited to merchants looking to scale their support operations efficiently and provide instant answers to common questions, even outside of business hours. The significantly larger number of reviews suggests it has a more established user base. Both apps offer omnichannel capabilities but prioritize different channels and communication styles.

Our Verdict
If your business thrives on social media engagement and personalized messaging, especially on WhatsApp, HeloRobo might be the better choice. It offers tools for direct sales within chat and leverages the WhatsApp Business API for marketing campaigns. However, the extremely low number of reviews is a significant risk.
For merchants prioritizing efficient customer support, especially those handling a high volume of repetitive inquiries, Moose is likely the more effective solution. Its AI chatbot can automate a large portion of support tasks, freeing up agents to focus on complex issues. The high review count suggests greater reliability and user satisfaction, making it the safer bet for 2026.
