Our Verdict
Happy Birthday Emails by UW is the clear choice for merchants who specifically want a simple, automated solution for birthday-based marketing. Its focus on birthday emails, high rating, and larger number of reviews indicate its effectiveness and popularity within that niche. Gratisfaction, on the other hand, is better suited for merchants seeking a comprehensive suite of marketing tools to run various campaigns, including but not limited to giveaways, contests, and loyalty programs. While it has a slightly lower rating and fewer reviews, its broader feature set justifies its consideration for merchants with diverse marketing needs. A merchant needing to implement both contests and birthday emails might find it more convenient and cost-effective to use Gratisfaction, while a merchant only needing birthday emails should use Happy Birthday Emails by UW.
