Our Verdict
For merchants with a strong existing presence on Google Maps or Google Merchant and already receiving positive reviews, Google Reviews by Reputon is the clear winner. Its higher rating, substantial number of reviews, and specific features like AI summary and multi-location support make it a powerful tool for leveraging existing social proof. However, if a merchant is just starting out or wants a more proactive approach to increasing sales, Proof Bear - Sales Popup offers a viable alternative. Its focus on creating FOMO through real-time sales notifications can be effective, especially for businesses looking to boost conversion rates quickly. Proof Bear requires less pre-existing positive customer reviews to be effective.
