Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary focus is Google Ads and they are comfortable with Google Tag Manager, or have access to someone who is, then ∞ Google Ads Tracking & GTM is the superior choice. Its robust features and automation capabilities provide a comprehensive tracking solution for the Google advertising ecosystem. However, if a merchant's main focus is Pinterest Ads and requires a simple and intuitive way to install and manage multiple Pinterest pixels, Omega ‑ Multi Pinterest Pixels is the better option. Its ease of use and real-time event tracking make it ideal for quickly scaling Pinterest ad campaigns.
While Omega ‑ Multi Pinterest Pixels boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, the significantly lower number of reviews (25 vs. 198) suggests that it's a newer or less widely adopted app. It is possible that the positive rating reflects early adopters' satisfaction or that the limited feature set caters to a smaller niche. ∞ Google Ads Tracking & GTM, with its higher review count, could be seen as a more established and battle-tested option for Google Ads tracking, despite the slightly lower rating.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for a beginner?

Yes, both apps track conversions. ∞ Google Ads Tracking & GTM tracks Google Ads and Bing UET conversions, while Omega ‑ Multi Pinterest Pixels tracks Pinterest ad conversions.
Which app offers more flexibility in terms of custom event tracking?

Which app is better for a merchant who uses both Google Ads and Pinterest Ads?
Ideally, a merchant using both would need both apps or a more comprehensive marketing analytics suite. Given these two options, choosing one may not be sufficient for comprehensive tracking across platforms. How do the server-side tracking capabilities differ between the two apps?
