Giveaway Ninja • Giveaways vs Lury: Make an Offerfor Shopify (2026)
Giveaway Ninja • Giveaways and Lury: Make an Offer both aim to increase sales and engagement on Shopify stores, but they achieve this through fundamentally different approaches. Giveaway Ninja leverages the power of giveaways and contests to drive traffic, build email lists, and generate sales by rewarding customer actions and referrals. It focuses on expanding reach and brand awareness through interactive campaigns. Lury, on the other hand, focuses on price negotiation, allowing customers to make offers on products. This approach aims to convert price-sensitive browsers into buyers through direct negotiation, potentially increasing revenue without relying on broad discounts. The target audience for Giveaway Ninja is likely merchants who want to increase brand visibility, grow their email list, and drive traffic through engaging marketing campaigns. This app is suited for businesses seeking to acquire new customers and boost sales through a strategic giveaway system that can incorporate social media, referrals, and product-specific promotions. Lury appears best suited for merchants who are comfortable with price negotiation and want to avoid blanket discounts. Businesses selling products with potentially flexible pricing, or those seeking to capture customers hesitant about the standard price, may find Lury's 'make an offer' functionality beneficial. Lury's core value proposition centers around converting browsers with a price sensitivity into buyers. A significant difference lies in their interaction style: Giveaway Ninja is proactive, drawing in customers with engagement opportunities and potential rewards, while Lury is more reactive, allowing customers to initiate the offer process. The number of reviews further suggests that Giveaway Ninja has a much larger and more established user base than Lury, potentially indicating greater reliability or broader appeal in the market.

Our Verdict
If you are looking to build a large email list, increase brand visibility and attract new customers through interactive campaigns, Giveaway Ninja is likely the better choice. Its focus on giveaways and contests enables you to create engaging experiences that drive traffic and increase sales. If, on the other hand, you are more concerned with converting customers who are on the fence about the price of your products, Lury could be a valuable tool. The make-an-offer functionality allows you to negotiate with customers and potentially close deals that you might otherwise miss.
Giveaway Ninja appears more established with a significantly higher number of reviews, suggesting broader adoption and potentially greater reliability. However, Lury offers a niche solution for price-conscious customers, which could be beneficial depending on your business model. If building a following and maximizing reach is a high priority, Giveaway Ninja is the stronger option; if maximizing conversions among hesitant buyers is key, Lury warrants consideration.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
Based on the information available, it's difficult to definitively say. However, Giveaway Ninja's description suggests a focus on creating giveaways quickly ('Create your giveaway in minutes'), potentially indicating a simpler initial setup. User reviews, especially a higher volume like Giveaway Ninja's 71 compared to Lury's 6, often shed light on ease of use, so it is recommended to read those for specific feedback.
Which app is better for growing an email list?
Giveaway Ninja appears to be specifically designed for email list growth, as its description explicitly mentions 'grow your email list' and rewards entries for completing actions. While Lury captures emails as part of the offer process, its primary focus is on negotiating price, not actively incentivizing email sign-ups.
Which app is better for high-value items with flexible pricing?
Lury seems better suited for high-value items where negotiation is acceptable. The 'Make an Offer' feature directly addresses price sensitivity, allowing you to potentially secure a sale that might otherwise be lost. Giveaway Ninja focuses on a broader audience and engagement, and might not directly translate to immediate sales for high-value items.
Which app offers more customization options?
Both apps offer customization options. Giveaway Ninja allows for branded landing pages and user-generated content galleries, providing visual customization. Lury allows customization of the offer appearance and target products/collections. It's difficult to compare the depth of customization without more detailed information, but Giveaway Ninja's features indicate a broader range of visual customization options.
Which app has better customer support?
The provided data does not explicitly mention customer support. However, the larger number of reviews for Giveaway Ninja might suggest a more established support system due to its wider user base. Checking the app details in the Shopify App Store may provide more specific information regarding support options and response times.
