GiftKart: Cashback & Gift Card vs Loopz Gift Cardsfor Shopify (2026)
GiftKart: Cashback & Gift Card and Loopz Gift Cards both target Shopify merchants looking to enhance customer loyalty and drive sales through rewards. However, they approach this goal with distinct strategies. GiftKart focuses exclusively on cashback programs using store credits, aiming for simplicity and seamless integration with Shopify's native store credit system. It aims to address merchant struggles with complicated loyalty programs and low retention by offering tiered cashback campaigns tied to order value, specific products, or customer segments. Loopz Gift Cards, on the other hand, provides a broader gift card solution, encompassing customizable digital and physical gift cards, store credit issuance, and POS synchronization with Clover and Square. It emphasizes branding and customization options, allowing merchants to create varied card designs and personalize the gift-giving experience. This app caters to merchants seeking a comprehensive gift card management system with omnichannel capabilities. The key differentiator is GiftKart's singular focus on cashback as a loyalty mechanism, while Loopz offers a more generalized gift card and store credit management system.

Our Verdict
Given the available data, Loopz Gift Cards appears to be the more reliable choice due to its significantly higher rating. However, GiftKart: Cashback & Gift Card might be worth considering if a merchant's primary goal is a simple and easy-to-manage cashback program using native Shopify store credits. Merchants heavily reliant on Clover or Square POS systems would benefit from Loopz's synchronization capabilities. If all that's needed is a simple cashback program and you are willing to tolerate a 0-star rating and figure out what is causing it, GiftKart may fill that need. However, the lack of reviews showing a positive experience should give you pause.
