Our Verdict
The choice between Gift Cards by WeGifts and Wrapin depends heavily on the merchant's priorities. If a merchant wants to actively sell and manage gift cards, particularly to B2B clients, WeGifts is the clear choice. Its bulk generation and usage tracking features are invaluable for managing a gift card program. However, if the goal is to improve the overall customer experience, increase perceived value, and potentially upsell on gift-related services, Wrapin is the better fit.
In many cases, both apps could be used effectively together. A merchant could use WeGifts to sell a gift card and then allow the recipient to use Wrapin options when redeeming it on physical goods. However, a merchant strictly interested in selling and managing gift cards effectively will find far more value in WeGifts. The small number of reviews for WeGifts compared to Wrapin could be a concern, so a trial period is recommended to ensure it meets specific needs.
