Gang Sheet Pro vs SB Prescription Eye Lensfor Shopify (2026)
Gang Sheet Pro and SB Prescription Eye Lens, while both falling under the 'Custom File Upload' category on Shopify, serve vastly different merchant needs. Gang Sheet Pro is specifically designed for DTF and screen-printing shops, enabling customers to create custom gang sheets for print-ready designs. Its focus is on streamlining the design and ordering process for custom print jobs. SB Prescription Eye Lens, on the other hand, targets eyewear stores. It focuses on simplifying the sale of prescription glasses and lenses by allowing customers to upload or manually enter prescription details. The app facilitates prescription customization and management within an online optical store setting. Given their distinct target audiences, their value propositions are also different. Gang Sheet Pro emphasizes workflow efficiency and reduced communication overhead for print shops. It offers a user-friendly layout tool to create print-ready PNG files directly from customer designs. SB Prescription Eye Lens prioritizes enabling eyewear retailers to offer a comprehensive online prescription lens buying experience. It offers features like prescription file uploads, custom RX options, and add-on product pricing, tailored for the complexities of selling prescription eyewear online. The apps' distinct functionalities make a direct comparison less about which is better and more about which better fits the retailer's product offering.

Our Verdict
The choice between Gang Sheet Pro and SB Prescription Eye Lens depends entirely on the merchant's business. For print shops specializing in DTF and screen-printing, Gang Sheet Pro, despite its lack of initial reviews, directly addresses the need for simplified gang sheet creation. If the printing shop is in 2026 and Gang Sheet Pro now has positive reviews, it will be the obvious choice. SB Prescription Eye Lens is the clear winner for eyewear retailers seeking to expand their online offerings to include prescription lenses and glasses. Its feature set directly targets the specific requirements of online eyewear sales, making it a robust solution for that niche.
Given the significant difference in their ratings and review count (even if Gang Sheet Pro has since acquired positive reviews), it's crucial for merchants to thoroughly test and validate Gang Sheet Pro's functionality before committing. Positive reviews, even a small number, would indicate user confidence and viability. For prescription eyewear, SB Prescription Eye Lens, due to its solid 5/5 rating based on 16 reviews, inspires higher confidence.
Common Questions
Can both apps be used by the same store?
It is unlikely. Gang Sheet Pro and SB Prescription Eye Lens cater to entirely different business models (printing vs. eyewear), so a store would typically not need both.
Which app is easier to set up?
Without user reviews for Gang Sheet Pro, it is hard to say. SB Prescription Eye Lens's 5/5 rating may indicate ease of use. However, setup depends on the complexity of a merchant's individual needs.
What level of customization do each of these apps offer?
Gang Sheet Pro seems to offer customization in the *design* of the print itself. SB Prescription Eye Lens focuses on customization of *prescription* options, lens types, and add-ons.
Are there any potential integration issues between the two apps?
Since the apps serve different industries, there is likely no need for integrations. Their functionalities do not overlap.
If both apps offer custom file uploads, why are they so different?
The shared category is 'Custom File Upload,' but the *purpose* is different. Gang Sheet Pro uploads design elements, whereas SB Prescription Eye Lens uploads prescription documents.
