Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks vs Packer: Mix and Match Productsfor Shopify (2026)
Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks and Packer: Mix and Match Products both address product bundling, but cater to different merchant needs and preferences. Fly is positioned as a comprehensive solution to maximize Average Order Value (AOV) through a wider array of bundling techniques beyond just mix-and-match, including fixed bundles, quantity breaks, BOGO offers, and frequently bought together (FBT) suggestions. It emphasizes ease of use with zero coding required and offers 24/7 support. Packer, on the other hand, focuses specifically on providing customers with a customizable mix-and-match bundle builder experience, giving shoppers control over their bundle composition. Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a hands-off approach with a wide variety of automated bundling options aimed at maximizing AOV, and who value robust support and a proven track record (as indicated by the high rating and numerous reviews), Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks is the clear choice. It’s well-suited for larger stores or those seeking to implement multiple bundling strategies without extensive manual configuration.
However, if customer choice and a fully customizable bundling experience are paramount, and the merchant is comfortable with some interface configuration, Packer: Mix and Match Products may be a better fit. This app is ideal for stores where personalization and customer engagement are key priorities, and where the merchant wants to offer shoppers the freedom to create their own unique product combinations, albeit with limited social proof at this time.
