Flook: PDF Catalog to Flipbook vs Moast Shoppable Videos & UGCfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Flook: PDF Catalog to Flipbook and Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC offer distinct approaches to enhancing the customer experience through rich media. Flook focuses on transforming static PDF catalogs into interactive, shoppable flipbooks. Its strength lies in repurposing existing marketing materials and enabling direct purchases from within the digital brochure. This is ideal for merchants who already have well-designed catalogs and wish to expand their reach and conversion rates. Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC, on the other hand, centers around video content and user-generated content (UGC). Its higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest a more established and potentially more reliable solution. Moast likely appeals to merchants looking to leverage the engaging power of video and authentic customer content to drive sales. While both apps aim to boost sales through interactive media, they target different content types and potentially different merchant needs, with Flook targeting existing PDF catalogs and Moast targeting video and user-generated content.

Our Verdict
For merchants with existing, high-quality PDF catalogs looking to repurpose them into engaging, interactive experiences, Flook: PDF Catalog to Flipbook could be a viable option. However, the low number of reviews raises questions about its reliability and user satisfaction. Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC, with its significantly higher rating and large number of reviews, appears to be a more robust and well-received solution for merchants prioritizing video marketing and user-generated content.
If your focus is on video-driven commerce and leveraging user-generated content, Moast is the clear choice. If you have valuable existing PDF catalogs and a smaller budget, Flook could be tested, but proceed with caution given the limited user feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without user testimonials about setup difficulty, it's hard to say. However, Flook's focus on PDF conversion might make it slightly simpler if your existing catalogs are well-structured. Moast may require more planning around video content and UGC collection.
Which app is better for customer retention?
Both apps claim to boost customer retention. Flook aims to do so through engaging documents, while Moast relies on the inherent stickiness of video and the authenticity of UGC. Moast likely has a slight edge due to the generally higher engagement rates associated with video content.
Which app offers better ROI?
ROI will depend heavily on the quality of existing catalogs for Flook and the effectiveness of video content and UGC for Moast. Moast's higher adoption rate suggests it may offer a more proven path to ROI, but this will vary by business.
Can both apps be used simultaneously?
Potentially, yes. They address different content types and strategies. A merchant could use Flook for product catalogs and Moast for product demonstrations and customer testimonials. However, ensure a cohesive brand experience.
Which app integrates best with mobile devices?
Both apps, as of 2026, should be optimized for mobile viewing. Shoppable videos are inherently mobile-friendly. Flook needs to ensure its flipbooks render correctly and are easy to navigate on smaller screens.
