Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons vs Visidea AI Search & Discoveryfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons and Visidea AI Search & Discovery face vastly different app profiles. Floatify positions itself as a store experience enhancement tool, focusing on readily accessible contact methods and social links to improve customer interaction and potentially drive sales. Its core strength lies in its ease of use, readily customizable buttons, and direct communication channels like WhatsApp live chat and call buttons. Conversely, Visidea AI Search & Discovery is positioned as an AI-powered search and discovery solution. However, with a rating of 0/5 and zero reviews, it lacks any social proof and demonstrable value for merchants. Floatify is primarily geared toward merchants looking for quick wins in customer engagement through easily accessible CTAs and direct communication. It is a straightforward solution aimed at improving the overall user experience by placing readily available contact buttons on the store. In contrast, Visidea AI Search & Discovery offers an AI-powered search functionality, but the lack of reviews and absence of a rating create a massive trust barrier. Unless proven otherwise, the app presents an unproven value proposition in improving product discoverability. The vastly different user scores suggest merchants have preferred the immediate, tangible benefits of customer engagement tools to unproven, more technical AI-based search enhancement.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons is currently the more reliable and safer choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its strong rating and positive reviews suggest it delivers on its promise of improving customer engagement and providing readily accessible communication channels. Its ease of use makes it particularly appealing for merchants who are not technically inclined and want quick, impactful improvements. Visidea AI Search & Discovery may hold promise with its AI-powered approach to search, but the lack of any user feedback and zero rating make it a risky investment.
Merchants who prioritize proven results and need immediate improvements to customer interaction should opt for Floatify. Unless Visidea AI Search & Discovery can demonstrate its value and gather positive reviews, it remains a less appealing option. Ideally, merchants interested in AI-powered search would wait for reviews and testimonials to emerge before committing to Visidea. Until then, its value is purely hypothetical, making Floatify a more secure decision for most Shopify store owners.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Floatify explicitly states 'Simple and easy to install, with no coding, 1 minute to go live'. Visidea's setup difficulty isn't specified but AI-powered search often requires more configuration.
Which app is more likely to increase sales?
Floatify's focus on direct communication (WhatsApp, call button) and clear CTAs gives it a more immediate potential to impact sales. Visidea's impact is based on improving product discovery which has a less direct impact.
Is Visidea AI Search & Discovery necessarily a bad app?
Not necessarily. It simply lacks any social proof. It could be a brand new app, or it could have issues that deter users. Without reviews, it's impossible to know.
If a merchant is already using an AI search tool, should they consider Floatify?
Potentially. Floatify addresses a different need – direct customer engagement. If the merchant's search is already optimized but customer interaction is low, Floatify could complement their existing setup.
What is the biggest risk of choosing Visidea AI Search & Discovery?
The biggest risk is spending time and money on an app that doesn't deliver the promised benefits or that has technical issues. Without reviews, it's impossible to assess its reliability or effectiveness.
