Fit Quiz: Size recommendation vs Modash Influencer Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
Fit Quiz: Size recommendation and Modash Influencer Marketing serve entirely different purposes for Shopify merchants. Fit Quiz focuses on enhancing the customer experience and reducing returns in the apparel and footwear sectors by providing size recommendations based on a quick quiz. Its strengths lie in its ease of setup (no manual measurements required), customization options, and analytics on shopper sizing preferences. The target audience is clothing and footwear brands aiming to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction through accurate size recommendations. Kidswear is explicitly NOT supported. Modash Influencer Marketing, on the other hand, isn't described directly but its name implies it connects merchants with influencers. It likely focuses on growing brand awareness and sales through influencer marketing campaigns, offering tools to find, manage, and track the performance of influencers. It falls under the 'Social trust - Other' category, so it likely addresses areas like influencer validation, or fake follower detection, but this is speculative based on the category. The significantly fewer reviews suggest it is a newer or more niche offering compared to Fit Quiz. While both apps aim to increase sales, they address vastly different aspects of the business: Fit Quiz optimizes the product page and checkout experience for apparel/footwear, while Modash attempts to expand reach and visibility through external social channels.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Fit Quiz and Modash Influencer Marketing depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the merchant sells clothing or footwear (excluding kidswear) and struggles with high return rates due to sizing issues, Fit Quiz is the clear choice. Its focus on accurate size recommendations and ease of setup directly addresses this problem.
If the merchant wants to boost brand awareness and sales through influencer marketing, then Modash Influencer Marketing is the more appropriate option. However, the low number of reviews suggests that the merchant should carefully evaluate Modash's features and consider alternatives with more established track records and documented functionality before committing. Fit Quiz is not suitable for merchants who aren't in the apparel/footwear vertical.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Fit Quiz explicitly claims easy setup with no size charts required. No such claim is made for Modash Influencer Marketing, making Fit Quiz likely easier at the initial stages, but it will require further input to refine algorithms.
Which app is more likely to directly impact return rates?
Fit Quiz is designed to directly impact return rates by providing accurate size recommendations. Modash may indirectly impact return rates by improving customer brand perception and targeting, but not directly.
Which app requires more manual input?
While Fit Quiz automatically recommends sizes, it learns over time, needing initial customer inputs. Modash likely requires considerable manual effort in identifying suitable influencers, setting up campaigns, and tracking performance. Based on available data, Modash likely needs more ongoing management.
Can Fit Quiz improve brand awareness?
While Fit Quiz primarily focuses on sizing, a better shopping experience might indirectly improve brand awareness through positive customer reviews and word-of-mouth.
Which app is better for a merchant selling children's clothing?
Fit Quiz explicitly states that it does NOT support kidswear. Therefore, Modash Influencer Marketing would be the only option of the two. It is also important to note that there are likely other Size apps that support kidswear which would be much more applicable than either option.
