Fish Wishlist vs Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Fish Wishlist and Hide Price are Shopify apps targeting different aspects of the e-commerce experience, both incidentally landing in the 'Pricing Quotes' category. Fish Wishlist focuses on enhancing customer engagement and B2B functionality through wishlists, quotation requests, and social proof features. It aims to provide a streamlined, omnichannel wishlist experience with integrations for POS systems and multi-market support. Its core strength lies in enabling customers to create wishlists, share them, and request custom pricing, especially catering to B2B businesses. In contrast, Hide Price concentrates on controlling product visibility and pricing for unregistered users, primarily targeting B2B wholesalers who wish to manage price displays and add-to-cart options based on user login status. This app's value proposition revolves around collecting customer data by requiring login to view prices, and offering custom messaging for unregistered users. While both apps share the pricing quotes category, Hide Price is primarily concerned with managing price visibility and collecting user data while Fish Wishlist enhances customer engagement via wishlists, B2B pricing, and related features. A key difference is that Fish Wishlist has user reviews and rating while Hide Price has none.

Our Verdict
Fish Wishlist is well-suited for merchants aiming to boost customer engagement, provide B2B pricing options, and integrate wishlists seamlessly across various channels including POS. It appears to be a user-friendly app with a rapid setup process and available white glove installation. Given the existing positive reviews, it's the safer bet for stores prioritizing customer experience and B2B sales growth.
Hide Price is better suited for B2B wholesalers who prioritize controlling price visibility and collecting customer data by requiring logins. It can be strategically useful for those needing to manage pricing for specific products or collections based on user status. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice. If price control and data collection are paramount and the merchant is willing to test an unproven app, Hide Price might be considered. Otherwise, Fish Wishlist offers a more feature-rich and well-reviewed solution.
