First Wish ‑ Wishlist & Boards vs Fish Wishlistfor Shopify (2026)
First Wish ‑ Wishlist & Boards and Fish Wishlist both aim to provide Shopify merchants with wishlist functionality, allowing customers to save products and share lists. However, they differ significantly in their scope, target audience, and, crucially, user satisfaction. First Wish focuses on basic wishlist functionality for both registered and guest users, emphasizing shareable curated lists and providing some administrative insights. Fish Wishlist, on the other hand, is a more comprehensive solution geared towards omnichannel businesses, particularly those with B2B operations and POS systems, offering advanced features like B2B pricing, quote requests, and deeper integrations. The apps appear to target different merchant needs, from simple wishlist additions to complex, integrated commerce solutions.

Our Verdict
Fish Wishlist appears to be the stronger choice for merchants operating across multiple channels, including POS and B2B, or those requiring advanced features. Its higher rating and focus on integration suggest a more robust and valuable solution for businesses with complex needs. First Wish, while offering a basic wishlist functionality, lacks the integrations and advanced features of Fish Wishlist and struggles with extremely low ratings. For merchants with simpler needs and a very tight budget, First Wish could be an option; however, the user reviews and lack of features are concerning. Fish Wishlist's White Glove Installation option can add value to busy merchants.
