Finaloop vs Skroutz Connectfor Shopify (2026)
Finaloop and Skroutz Connect are Shopify apps targeting vastly different needs. Finaloop is a comprehensive accounting solution aimed at ecommerce businesses seeking full-service bookkeeping and inventory management, coupled with real-time financial insights. It provides tax-ready financials, inventory sync with COGS calculation, and a founder-focused dashboard. Skroutz Connect, on the other hand, is a marketing tool focused on enhancing product visibility by automatically listing your catalog on the Skroutz engine through an XML feed. It streamlines the process of getting your products on Skroutz, a popular price comparison platform, offering pre-configured XML feeds and integration with Skroutz Analytics. Finaloop distinguishes itself with its hands-on accounting service, providing expert accountants to manage your books, making it ideal for businesses without in-house accounting expertise or those seeking a more comprehensive financial solution. Skroutz Connect emphasizes ease of use with its one-click setup and automated XML feed, catering to merchants who want a simple solution to boost visibility on the Skroutz platform. While both apps fall under the 'Inventory sync' category, their approaches and overall goals are distinctly different; Finaloop uses inventory data for accounting purposes, while Skroutz Connect leverages it for product listing optimization.

Our Verdict
The choice between Finaloop and Skroutz Connect depends entirely on your business needs. If you are looking for a comprehensive accounting solution with expert support, inventory management, and real-time financial insights, Finaloop is the clear choice. It is well-suited for businesses that lack internal accounting expertise or need a more robust solution. On the other hand, if you're primarily focused on increasing product visibility on the Skroutz platform, particularly if you are selling in Greece, Skroutz Connect is the better option. Its simplicity and automated feed generation offer a straightforward way to reach a wider audience on Skroutz. It's important to note that they really have nothing in common apart from indirectly handling inventory.
