Fanboard ‑ Customer Videos vs Heureka • Trust Badgefor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Fanboard ‑ Customer Videos and Heureka • Trust Badge will face distinct value propositions. Fanboard positions itself as a user-generated content (UGC) engine, enabling merchants to collect customer videos for marketing purposes. Its strength lies in automating the process of obtaining authentic video testimonials in exchange for discount codes. This addresses the need for fresh, engaging content for ads, social media, and websites. Heureka, on the other hand, focuses on building trust by collecting customer reviews and displaying a "Customer Verified" certificate. The key difference lies in the type of content collected and its intended use. Fanboard is about visual content and active customer participation, while Heureka is about textual reviews and passive verification. Fanboard targets merchants who actively want to leverage user-generated video content to boost engagement and conversion. Heureka is designed for merchants in Czech and Slovak markets, offering integration with the "Overeno zakazniky" portal to enhance credibility. The app leverages automated questionnaire delivery to gather reviews post-purchase.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to actively utilize user-generated video content for marketing, Fanboard ‑ Customer Videos is the clear choice, assuming they can build trust and traction despite the lack of initial reviews. The automated discount code system and prompt setting features are valuable. However, the lack of reviews is a significant risk. Heureka • Trust Badge is specifically tailored for merchants operating in the Czech and Slovak markets who need to integrate with the "Overeno zakazniky" platform. If your business isn't in these regions, Heureka isn't relevant. Given the limited number of reviews for Heureka, merchants should carefully assess its effectiveness for their specific niche within the Czech and Slovak markets.
