EZLabel: Australia Post Ship vs Shoptopus: Invoice Generatorfor Shopify (2026)
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship and Shoptopus: Invoice Generator, while sharing the 'Orders' and 'Invoices and receipts' categories on Shopify, serve fundamentally different purposes. EZLabel is a shipping automation app, specifically designed for Australian merchants using Australia Post's MyPost Business service. Its strength lies in streamlining the shipping label creation, order fulfillment, and tracking process with a focus on speed and ease of use. Shoptopus: Invoice Generator, on the other hand, is a document creation app focused on generating professional and compliant PDF invoices, packing slips, credit notes, and return forms. It emphasizes customization and ease of template modification without requiring coding skills. EZLabel primarily targets merchants shipping goods within Australia (and internationally) via Australia Post, especially those looking to automate and accelerate their shipping workflow. Shoptopus targets a broader range of merchants who need to generate various business documents, particularly invoices and packing slips, and who value customization and ensuring legal compliance in those documents. While both apps address aspects of order management, EZLabel's focus is on the *physical* fulfillment of orders, while Shoptopus focuses on the *financial* and documentation aspects.

Our Verdict
If your primary need is to streamline shipping for your Australian business using Australia Post's MyPost Business, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear choice. Its specialization in this area, combined with its high rating and substantial number of reviews, suggests a well-optimized and reliable solution. However, if your priority is generating a variety of professional and compliant documents like invoices, packing slips, and credit notes, with a focus on visual customization, then Shoptopus: Invoice Generator is the better option. While it has fewer reviews, its focus on document creation and ease of template editing makes it a suitable choice for merchants needing more than just shipping labels.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Both apps emphasize ease of use, but in different ways. EZLabel boasts a 'two-click' process for label printing and fulfillment, targeting speed. Shoptopus offers a visual template editor, making customization accessible without coding skills. The 'easier' app depends on your needs: speed for shipping or customization for documents.
Which app is better for international shipping?
EZLabel supports international shipping via Australia Post, whereas Shoptopus doesn't directly handle shipping. If your main concern is international shipping labels specifically for Australia Post, EZLabel is better. Shoptopus focuses on the documentation aspects applicable regardless of shipping destination.
Can Shoptopus create shipping labels?
No, Shoptopus focuses on generating invoices, packing slips, return forms, and credit notes. It does not create shipping labels. For shipping label creation, especially with Australia Post, EZLabel is the appropriate choice.
Which app is more suitable for a large e-commerce store with high order volume?
EZLabel is likely more suitable for a large e-commerce store with high order volume because it automates the shipping label creation and fulfillment process. Shoptopus is useful to automate the creation of financial documents, but does not handle the physical shipping process.
Does either app integrate with other shipping carriers besides Australia Post?
Based on the descriptions, only EZLabel explicitly mentions integration, and it is specifically with Australia Post MyPost Business. Shoptopus focuses on document generation, so carrier integration is not relevant to its function.
