EZ Exporter ‑ Data Exports vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
EZ Exporter - Data Exports and Zigpoll Customer Surveys, while both operating within the Operations and Analytics categories on Shopify, serve fundamentally different purposes and cater to distinct merchant needs. EZ Exporter focuses on providing merchants with robust data extraction and manipulation capabilities, allowing them to export various Shopify data points into customizable reports and integrate with external systems. Zigpoll, on the other hand, is centered around gathering customer feedback through surveys, aiming to provide insights into customer behavior, preferences, and pain points to improve the overall customer experience and business strategy. The core difference lies in their approach to data. EZ Exporter empowers merchants to extract and transform existing Shopify data for external use cases like 3PL integration or custom reporting. Zigpoll enables merchants to proactively collect new data directly from customers through surveys, enabling them to understand their audience better and personalize the customer journey. While both apps can ultimately inform business decisions, they do so by leveraging different data sources and analytical methods, targeting different merchant needs.
