Our Verdict
For merchants who value simplicity and guaranteed protection, and are willing to pay for it, Evereye | Fraud Protection is the clear choice. It allows them to focus on growing their business without worrying about chargebacks or spending time on manual fraud review. This app is best for stores that are comfortable handing over fraud management to a third party and want to quickly expand sales without the need for complex fraud rules.
However, for merchants who desire complete control over their fraud prevention strategy and are willing to invest the time in setting up and managing rules, Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent offers a more flexible and potentially cost-effective solution. This is ideal for businesses that have specific fraud patterns they want to target, or want to gradually build a robust fraud prevention system tailored to their evolving needs.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Evereye boasts a setup time of just minutes, suggesting a simpler onboarding process. Fraud Falcon, while having a setup wizard, likely requires more time investment to configure the fraud rules effectively.
Which app is better for international sales?
Evereye explicitly highlights its ability to accept international orders without risk, making it a potentially better choice for merchants looking to expand globally. Fraud Falcon could also support international sales, but the effectiveness depends entirely on the rules the merchant configures.
Does either app offer a free trial?
Neither app description mentions a free trial. Further research would be needed to confirm if one exists.
Which app is likely more expensive?
Without pricing information, it's hard to say definitively. However, Evereye's guarantee suggests a higher cost structure, potentially as a percentage of sales or a fixed monthly fee, to cover the risk of chargeback reimbursements. Fraud Falcon may be cheaper initially, but requires more ongoing management which has a cost.
Which app provides phone order protection?
Evereye specifies phone order verification. Fraud Falcon's description does not explicitly mention phone orders.
