Our Verdict
Given the limited information and the stark contrast in reviews and ratings, it's difficult to definitively recommend one over the other without knowing what 'SA Variants: Combined Listings' actually *does*. If a merchant needs recently viewed product functionality and is willing to take a risk on a new app with no reviews, ESSY Recently Viewed Products offers a seemingly straightforward solution. However, the lack of social proof is a major concern.
If the merchant's problem aligns with 'SA Variants: Combined Listings', then SA Variants has a strong advantage due to the positive reviews and high rating. However, the ambiguity of its function makes ESSY the only option if the need is specifically related to 'recently viewed products'. Ultimately, more information about the second app is necessary for a fair recommendation.
